How it works

1. Pick a difficulty (Easy or Hard). A hidden equation has been generated for today — your goal is to find it using as few guesses as possible.
2. Use the calculator pad to enter any true equation that matches the required format (e.g. 5+4=9 is true, 5+4=10 is not), then tap Guess.
3. After each guess the tiles change colour to guide your next attempt (see the legend below).
4. Equations follow standard maths precedence: × and ÷ are evaluated before + and −. For example, 2+3×4=14 is correct because 3×4=12 first, giving 2+12=14.
5. The result (right of =) may contain a decimal point — but the values on the left are always whole numbers. Allowed decimal forms:
   • Tenths — e.g. 7÷2=3.5, 8÷5=1.6
   • Quarters — e.g. 3÷4=0.75, 9÷4=2.25
   • Repeating fractions (truncated to 3 places) — e.g. 2÷3=0.666, 1÷9=0.111, 1÷6=0.166, 7÷9=0.777
6. You get 6 guesses on Easy and 9 on Hard. New puzzles appear at midnight UTC every day and every player in the world sees the same daily answer.
7. When the game ends your game score is shown — tallied across every guess you made:
   • Green (exact position): +3 pts per tile.
   • Gold (right symbol, wrong place): +2 pts per tile.
   • Grey (not in equation): −1 pt per tile.
